This year’s ceremony was under the theme: “Promoting good corporate governance and innovative entrepreneurship”. Held at the plush Banquet Hall, State House in Accra, the event was well attended by corporate Ghana, dignitaries and officialdom.
Dr. Tony Oteng-Gyasi, a Lawyer, Economist and an Industrialist, led the AGI as President from 2005 to 2009 during which period, his technical expertise and managerial initiatives helped in positioning AGI as a strong brand within the industrial landscape of Ghana.

They were taken through a familiriazation tour of the factory floor, quality assurance laboratory and the new expansion project which is to be commissioned by the end of the year.
